Our goal for the Coming Home Hospice House is for it to be a sanctuary of tranquility, designed to cater to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families. The soothing environment will feature comfortable living spaces, gardens, and communal areas where families can gather. Through our hospice house, we aim to create a welcoming atmosphere that fosters connection, support, and love, treating every resident as though they are family. Our vision includes creating a nurturing environment with 10-12 rooms and common areas for patients and their families to come together during this important time. We are committed to ensuring accessibility and will be adding an elevator to the house.
A cornerstone of our hospice initiative is our pet-friendly policy. We understand the profound bond between individuals and their pets, and we believe allowing these beloved companions to be present during end-of-life care can significantly enhance a patient’s emotional well-being. Studies have shown that pets can alleviate stress, decrease anxiety, and foster a sense of normalcy. By ensuring that patients can be accompanied by their pets, we aim to create a serene environment that promotes comfort and companionship, enabling individuals to spend their final moments surrounded by love.
